What really is
Vedic astrology, or Jyotish Shastra, is an ancient science rooted in the timeless wisdom of the Vedas, the foundational texts of the Yog-Vedantic tradition. The word Jyoti means luminous or light, while Ish is the root of Ishvara, signifying the Sacred, the finest relative expression of the Absolute.
